Fandom: Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland 2010
Pairing: Alice Kingsleigh & Tarrant Hightopp
Rating: T
Warnings: Angst, Unresolved Sexual Tension, Mature Themes, Sensuality
Summary: Alice had made a promise to return to Underland in a timely manner and, immediately following the engagement party and Lord Ascot’s generous job offer, she does just that! But when she arrives, she discovers she’s late... again. (An AiW romance between Alice and Tarrant that is set Above.)
Word count: 30,000 (approximately)

Artist: clarice1682 (a.k.a. Red Passion) came up with a wonderful original illustration which is archived HERE.
Notes: So, OK, I thought this fandom needed a totally “different” kind of Alice/Tarrant romance. This is my take on that... I hope you enjoy it! (This story is completely independent of my One Promise Kept series, so Alice and Tarrant should seem different from their OPK counterparts.)
Disclaimer: Alice in Wonderland and its characters, storyline, setting, and other concepts are the property of Walt Disney Studios, Tim Burton, and Lewis Carroll. No copyright infringement is intended and no compensation was given to the author for creating this work. (I just loved the movie too much to let the end be The End.)
Research Notes: Most pertain to 1867 Japan, where several chapters of this story take place.
