Date: 2010-12-09 10:09 am (UTC)We don't have any snow yet, but we will get snow... eventually. Very wet and heavy stuff. They have to use poles and rope to brace the trees here against it or the weight of the snow snaps the poor things' branches off! Today we got rain/sleet/hail which was just LOVELY. (^__~)

Date: 2010-12-09 11:51 am (UTC)They don't use anything to brace the trees here, but if I'm not mistaken the trees here are very typical for this kind of climate so I guess they're used to the weight - even though it's been a new low temperature record sweeping through europe. (20 people have frozen to death in paris so far - scary.)
Then again, the temperature and the amount of snow are two different things.
Here, we got snow up to our calves - about 30 cm now I think - and more coming! LOVE it! ;)
