Alice in Wonderland (2010 film version)

Summary: The citizens of Underland enjoy peace again, but when the consequences of the brief rebellion result in Tarrant's death, Alice swears to bring him back to her.  Whatever it takes.

Rating & Genre: M (mature audiences only) - Drama, Romance, Action

Warnings: Angst, Character Death, Sexual Situations, Violence, Mild Language

Promises: A happy ending... after much angst and adventure, of course!  (^__^)

Notes: This plot bunny is courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] wanderamaranth and her drabble, Ends. After she shared it with me, I Knew what I had to write next.  Also, once again, my amazing husband was instrumental in keeping this plot (and Unnecessary Angst) from running away with me.

Disclaimer: Alice in Wonderland and its characters, storyline, setting, and other concepts are the property of Walt Disney Studios, Tim Burton, and Lewis Carroll.  Where I have created original words for the purpose of writing fan fiction, I have stated so in the Glossary of Underland posted here on this Live Journal.  No copyright infringement is intended and no compensation was given to the author for creating this work.  (I just loved the movie too much to let the end be The End.)

*A fan recorded a video of this song being played from an iPod.  Serious dedication.  And if this song were any less awesome, I wouldn't recommend the video.  But the song is awesome, so listen to it.  Seriously.

**Here is a version of  "Lighthouse" with an acoustic guitar (I like the piano version above better but the lyrics are much easier to hear in this recording).

Not to sound creepy or anything, but I've been stalking this and your others works for a while now[since the end of the first book I think? or maybe the second...] and I love everything you write. It makes me happy on the inside.

I avoided it whenever I saw it on FF for a while though; I don't normally like fan fiction with a bunch of chapters and twists. But it got my curiousity! And when I read through everything on there, my brain was basically saying "Nurr must have moreeee" which lead me here. And I've been stalking it here since.

I have to say, everything so far in ALL the books has been unpredictable and kept me on the edge of my seat. I love how you switch between points of views. Alice and Tarrant are most definitely the main characters, but you don't neglect the others either! You use them in a way that makes everything tie up neatly and in order. None of the books have been confusing to me at all, with the way you write[and I confuse easily!] And I haven't been able to tell what's going to happen at all in any of them! It's all so wonderfully fantastic! I love a book that can keep me guessing! And the personalities of all of them! Ohh, I could go on and on, but I'm sure you've heard it all before.

I love this book so far. A LOT. I honestly have no idea how you're going to make a happy ending! I'm checking back constantly to see if you've posted new chapters and re-reading the older books when you haven't.

To sum it up: I love this. Thank you for making it!

Hello, nice stalker-type person! (Never fear, LJ stalkers are great! It's the Real Life ones that are creepy.)

Thank you so, so much for your comments and encouragement. I never hear Good Things enough (and it's especially rare that people tell me my writing is clear and non-confusing!) and it totally makes my day to read such heartfelt and generous praise! Thank you!!

I guess it's a good sign that you can't predict the Happy Ending... but it has already been written and it is quite happy, indeed! Never fear!

Thank you once again for stopping by and commenting, anonymous friend!! (^__~)
